I guess that got your attention! We went to Honolulu on Saturday to see BODIES - The Exhibition. What an amazing two hours we spent viewing and reading all about our bodies. We touched the liver and the brain and saw fetuses and embryos in all stages of development. I had to circle back and see that one again. It was truly amazing. Did you know that at eight weeks you can see the hands and feet so clearly even though the embryo is only the size of a pea. If the exhibition ever comes to your town, you need to see it. It was interesting to see all the blood vessels in our body. They looked like a lacey creation in body form. One case showed a healthy set of lungs and the other one was black from years of smoking. It was great--go see it if you ever have the chance.
Chad and Ashley and their friends, Spencer and Holly styaed with us this past week. I think they covered every inch of the island--several times. Chad got blown away by the blow hole at the beach, Spencer got to be a drummer at the Tongan village, they all got a little more sun than they wanted, and they all enjoyed body surfing. At the end of each day, they flopped on the couch to watch Olympics and then headed to bed. It must be great to be young! We'll miss them. They were great to eat all our food that we never seem to be able to consume. Thanks for coming guys! We'll miss you.

thanks again for the fun week! you guys were so generous to us! we already miss you guys! but kate is happy to have us home. you'll have to take a look at the pictures we posted, but im sad, i just realized that we never got any with you or greg!
chad and ashley are great huh! we were lucky to have them for a night before they flew out of vegas to hawaii. you guys are great host and hostess' we sure love you!!!!
