Since Thanksgiving is this coming week, I thought I'd write a few things that I am thankful for. Cheesey, I know, but bear with me for a moment. We can all benefit from "counting our blessings" so to speak. Especially when things seem a little grim right now. So here is my list--not in any particular order but just as I think of them:
I'm grateful I didn't die in the Andes Mountains. Then I wouldn't be able to see and hold our grandkids and Janessa's new baby girl.
I'm grateful for our family--everyone of you. You make my life so rich!
I'm grateful for my health--except that I have feet problems right now. I am praying that it won't take months to clear up.
I'm grateful for a husband who loves me and treats me like the queen that I am (he he).
I'm grateful that we all have food on our tables.
I'm grateful for friends who make it not so lonely clear across the pacific.
I'm grateful to belong to the true church on the earth.
I'm grateful to be sealed to my family forever.
I'm grateful that Greg was wise enough to move some money to safe places before the stock market crashing
I'm grateful to have a prophet to lead us.
I'm grateful for my mind and ability to understand and learn things.
I'm grateful that God answered all our prayers and gave Heather and Jay their precious Lauren.
I'm grateful for music and the joy I feel when our children and grandchildren sing.
I'm grateful that our grandchildren are being raised in the gospel and know the Primary songs.
I'm grateful for the blessing of serving in the temple.
I guess I could go on forever, but this will do for now. We are all so blessed.

oh those are such nice things to be grateful for! i am glad you didn't die and that you are in good health and that dad has money! hahahaha.
