Gollaher Family Reunion 2010

Once again, the clan Gollaher gathered at our summer home known as "The Cabin" to celebrate the fourth of July all together. We had a great time as always! New this year was the "playground" as the children loved to call it. They played on it a lot! We also had the beautiful new grass that the kids could play on. There were many games played during the reunion: Horseshoes, bocce ball, running in the sprinklers and various kids games of running around! Also new this year were three little boys, shown here being held by their proud fathers! We took a lot of photos of the little ones together! Some of the highlights of this years reunion are:

  • Watching the deer and the moose run around our backyard
  • Watching the squirrels, chipminks and birds (grandpa put up two feeders!)
  • Running around Pine Mountains in the ATV's
  • Participating in the Oakley Parade riding on our "float" and throwing candy
  • Having our toes painted red, white and blue
  • Dancing to the "Just Dance" program on the Wii
  • Eating lots of good food
  • Playing games at night when the little ones were in bed
  • Watching the "cousins" play so happily together
  • Holding the babies
  • Seeing the girls in the skirts grandma (me) made for them
  • Pushing kids in the swing
  • Horshoe tournament (MOM and DAD won!)
  • Hiking in South Fork Canyon and Smith and Morehouse
  • Swimming at the fabulous Kamas Swimming pool!

We really missed Nathan and Anne-Marie and their children. They were not able to come this year. We still had a very fun time, but it wasn't the same without them. There was a bit more space in the house and in the playroom, however! And the food seemed to go further! Speaking of playroom, the kids hardly went in it....there was too much fun to be had outside!

All in all, it was a very fun and successful reunion! We sure have a great family! More photos to follow this post!

Adorable photos. Too bad we couldn't be there. Glad that the "food seemed to go further" without us. Are you saying that we are a bunch of piggies? Now you know how much these boys eat. We are up to 4 gallons of milk a week, and that is without Ann-Marie drinking it.
