There was not much fanfare in turning 60. Greg took me to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We invited our neighbors, the Winns, to come with us. Actually they drove because we are still waiting for the car that we ordered in September. I got the usual at the restaraunt--Renee's Special--a soup, salad and sandwich combo that is delicious. On Saturdays they have the chicken artichoke soup that is amazingly delicious. What made the lunch different than usual is that I got to have a piece of cheesecake to share with Greg. We came home after a short stop at Costco and kind of lounged around the house. Then at dinner time we got a call from the Wheelwrights to come over for dinner with them. She made taco soup which was good. I received many facebook posts from friends and family--a nice surprise. And I heard from most of our kids that day by phone. Miss you all so much. Some of our girls went in on a gift--some music that I have now downloaded and enjoy. Thank you so much! So that was my day. I don't really feel older but you never do from one day to the next. Does life begin at 60???? I hope so cause I have lots more to give.

No car yet? Is that my father-in-law ordering it? Probably. Let me know if you need me to light a fire under him. :)
Happy Birthday! You look exactly like you did 15 years ago when I left the mission. Wow the time flies. Enjoy your time in Hawaii!
