Kristin Comes to Town!

Kristin with Dad at the Office

What a great week we had with Kristin! It was so fun to have her all by herself and to go see all the places in Hawaii for one last time. We went to Pearl Harbor, Punchbowl Cemetary, Cheesecake Factory for lunch, the International Market to buy stuff, the beach, Dole Plantation, turtle beach, the golf course (Kristin dressed up in golf gear and gave the ball a few whacks!) the sandwich place in Haleiwa and of course to Matsumotos for shave ice. We spent a day at PCC and also went over other times to chat with people and to shop for a few things to take back to the kids. We also included the Jacox girls who were visiting their grandparents. They went with us to PCC and to Dole Plantation. They were lots of fun. They are so young! What a blessing to be so young and just starting out yor marriage (Emily) and still looking (Tearsa). They were great! Here are a few photos of the week:

Kristin at Hukilau Beach (usually she had a jacket on--go figure)--but this day was warm enough for her to wear a swimsuit!

Dad and Kristin getting ready for the first hole at Kahuku. Kristin can actually hit the ball after only one little lesson!

Kristin and Mom at the golf course--don't they look spiffy? It's all about how you look at the course!

We all did the tititorea sticks at the New Zealand village. Some were more coordinated than others. Emily and I definitely had it down!

Tersa, Kristin and Emily with my friend, Sela, at the Tongan Village handicraft shop. Sela gave the girls their beautiful crowns that they wore all day. Emily, Mom and Kristin eating Dole whips at the Dole Plantation
