Merry Christmas Everyone!

A Warm Hello from Cold and Snowy Utah!
Dear Friends and Family,
Since last Christmas we have had a few major changes in our life! We moved again! This time, we hope it is for a good long time. Greg retired from his job at the Polynesian Cultural Center in March and we headed back home to Salt Lake City where we started our life together 37 years ago. We so enjoy living in the downtown area in a condo that we refurbished about 4 years ago. It is close to everything downtown. We walk to the temple, the church office building, the conference center and take the train to the shopping areas. It’s great! We have three of our 7 children nearby in the Salt Lake area. It is great to have them close and also to be close to other extended family members.
In July, our children and their families came from Illinois, Nevada, Georgia and Utah to be together at our summer home in Oakley, Utah. There were 29 of us gathered in our home for 4 days. We had 14 grandchildren running around enjoying their cousins. We had a wonderful time and look forward to next year with great anticipation. Since the July reunion, we have added two more grandsons bringing the total to 8 granddaughters and 8 grandsons. We expect another grandson early next year. We are so blessed with these precious little ones!
Greg and I keep very busy with callings in the church and volunteer work. Greg is the Executive Secretary to Elder Claudio Costa of the Presidency of the Seventy, on the Stake High Council and teaches Gospel Doctrine in our ward. I am serving as the ward Relief Society President. I am also volunteering at the Perpetual Education Fund doing computer work for a new data base being developed. We have also enjoyed seeing our grandchildren as often as we can.
For fun this past year we played golf as often as time permitted, visited family, and spent 3 weeks in China with friends. It was an amazing trip! I also was able to do a little bit of sewing and quilting which I enjoy.
We are so grateful for all of our blessings! We love our family and friends and we love the Lord. We are grateful for His birth, His life and example and for His atoning sacrifice for all mankind. May we all live our lives that we might be like Him.
With Love, Greg and Jill Gollaher
